| Engagement of Mind in Action and Application in Indigenous Culture in Education Initiation of education of tribal children in the state government during 1995-96 till the end of 2010 was a long journey to establish the education of the linguistic minority in state education system. In order to translate the Constitution of India to provide education to the children of scheduled tribes of Odisha, government set up state Tribal Education Unit in Education Programme where Dr Mishra was the first Coordinator. He coordinated the. Pedagogical Practices : CURRICULUM DEVELOPMET AND PRERATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS IN FIRST AND SECOND LANGUAGE UNDER MLE APPRPOACH Development of culturally appropriate curriculum for tribal children of primary stage using thematic approach to connect the experiential learning of the children with the school curriculum. Community takes part as the partner of sharing their knowledge with the local teachers and children as the partner in shared/active learning.
