| The broad objectives of the organization are:
1. To collect, document and preserve the rich cultural resources of tribal society and to understand the purpose and meaning of its use in the society
2. To revive and regenerate the fast vanishing expressive tradition of tribal culture and to promote the collective creativity putting them in modern perspective for social use
3. To disseminate the tribal art, folklore and culture by conducting workshops, exhibitions, publishing books and monographs
4. To conduct fundamental research and studies in linguistics, cultural and educational aspects of tribal society, and to use it for social transformation
5. To use the indigenous knowledge as the foundation to pre-primary education and primary education in the socio-cultural context of the tribal community and to use them for development of literacy
6. To bridge the gap between the tribal and non-tribal culture by making them participative in cross-cultural activities, and remove biases against the tribal
7. To bridge the gender gap in tribal society by creating awareness and revitalizing the local knowledge (using myths, puranas, proverbs, dance etc).
